TES Independent School Awards 2016 - winners announced!

The judging process

Who will judge the awards?

Award winners will be chosen when a distinguished panel of experts meet for our judging day.

What will the judges look for?

The aim of the awards is to recognise excellence and reward the professionalism and flare of those making an outstanding contribution to the strategic and financial management of independent schools in the UK.

The judges will be looking for outstanding examples of best practice in the 2014-2015 academic year. (The project could have begun before then but has reaped its success within 2014-2015.)

How will the entries be judged?

All entries will be evaluated by our expert panel of judges. The initial judges will shortlist up to six finalists for each of the categories.

On the final judging day, a carefully selected and distinguished panel of industry experts will meet to review the shortlisted entries and select the winners for each category. Judges will then choose an overall independent school of the year from winners of the first nine categories.
